About the event

ASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. It teaches participants to recognize when someone may have

thoughts of suicide and work with him or her to stay safe.

ASIST shares an intervention process that significantly reduces thoughts of suicide and helps people at risk of suicide feel more

hopeful about living.

ASIST is the world’s leading suicide intervention workshop. It has trained over 2,000,000 participants across 35 countries on

how to equip people with skills that support life.

ASIST helps participants become more willing, ready, and able to intervene with someone at risk of suicide.

ASIST allows people to foster hope, resiliency, and life in any organization, group, or community.

Learning how to use this model can empower you to explore invitations, ask about thoughts of suicide, and intervene with

the person at risk by connecting him or her to a network of community resources.

Support life in any setting.
